Enterprise payroll and HR platform widely used by home care agencies.
ADP does not publish per-employee pricing — pricing is custom-quoted by tier (RUN for SMB, Workforce Now for mid-market, Vantage HCM for enterprise) and module mix. Multi-year contracts are typical at the mid-market and enterprise tiers, with renewal escalators. Practical RFP questions: (1) which product tier is being quoted, (2) what is the per-employee cost vs. fixed monthly fee, (3) what does benefits admin / 401(k) / time-and-attendance cost as add-ons, (4) what are renewal-year escalator caps, (5) what does the AMS integration cost — and is the integration certified or custom.
ADP implementations are heavier than Gusto-tier modern peers. Plan for: business and tax-jurisdiction setup, employee/contractor data migration, benefits-broker integration, AMS integration (most home care AMSs list ADP integrations but quality varies), training, and parallel-run periods. Multi-state and PEO implementations are more complex.
Support quality is the most consistent complaint in independent reviews — long hold times, ticket churn, and varying rep quality. Mitigation: confirm dedicated rep / dedicated team in your contract, response-time SLAs, escalation paths. Higher tiers get better attention. Reference-check with home care customers in your specific size range and state.
